I always had a hobby of doing small things for me, as a maker. I got my first advertisement gig when I overheard two guys talking about the launch of fiber optics in Portugal. I was planning a public art performance and invited them to the 2007 show based on GRL led bombing.

There I explained easily that fiber optic was a fantastic material to work with, and from that talk came out my first work as producer and creative on the MEO commercial 2007 ( the agency put all the chips on me, without a team or anything and put me in charge of a 500k Ad ).
Actually this was my first contact with advertisement ever

That year I've worked around fiber and started to introduce my maker talent to the advertisement industry in Portugal.

My first international hit, where I found out that makers, physical and interactive were the future, was the Heineken the invite. One of my hobbies was ( and still is ) looking for ad student cases that they thought weren't possible to built. and I made it. Got in touch with the guys and emails from all over the world start coming, but as u can see from the quality of these videos I wasn't mature or had the team to sell this worldwide, and Portugal didn't have the size to monetize this


I still today do this exercice of finding a case , wonder I how would do that, and just test my aproach!

During ten years, I've worked the advertisement in Portugal with local big brands.

There I've worked with interactive outdoors, made one of the first connection between Facebook and real life in Portugal. Meanwhile was invited by some people over the world to do some small independent jobs more artsy.

Alone, I programmed and ( still do ), unity, max msp, javascript, lua, Google go, python, ternsorflow and swift. I know some electronics and understand how technology work so I can bridge creative egos with sophisticated engineering.

Four years ago been invited for a more significant project where I was technically responsible for the tech side.

I've been tech consultant for robot dogs, I shrank cars , I've built GPS self-driving bicycles , Read people minds , made custom office chairs , with deep learning I've made and ad chase a soccer ball , created doors that would open if your beer was well poured , created a custom can MIDI controller ( AWFULL MUSIC ) , done frozen fish flap on their boxes and hacked roomba robots.

As a hobby, I've been working with artists around the world doing stuff like the DJ plotter , the momar < as consultant > Worked with tensorflow and deep learning,hacked google services so I could put two email accounts talking with each other through auto-reply, streamed live whales sound from the Hawaii coast in a kids pool in Germany that u could only hear underwater, build an app to be easier to communicate with your loved ones ( not on the air anymore ) , created an unsharable page ( not on the air anymore ), Blew some wind on Hillary and then on a German politician in Berlin Created an art collective based in Lisbon portugal where I designed a software to be installed in 400 computers and create a living art piece and then we used the same engine to do a second one

Today I divide my time , advising VCs in tech and help the tech companies they invest in reach their tech goals faster, creating art and helping artists reaching their goals through technology, Creating awesome stunts for advertisement around the world as creative technologist.
